Redeemer Classical Christian School is located on historic Beachmont Farm in Baltimore County, Maryland, and offers a Pre-K through 12th grade college preparatory program using the classical approach to education.

Redeemer produces articulate, well-read young men and women who are prepared to serve and lead as adults. SAT scores rank well above the national average, and 100% of our graduates are accepted into college. A rigorous academic program includes studies in Latin, Logic, Rhetoric, as well as advanced courses in English, math, science, and biblical studies. Seniors prepare and defend a final thesis adjudicated by a panel of professionals.

Redeemer Classical Christian School is accredited with the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of both The Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Our Mission

We exist to honor Christ by cultivating young men and women of wisdom, virtue, and faith. Redeemer provides a challenging academic program based on the classical model of education, which fully integrates God’s truth into a Biblical world and life view, partnering with parents to facilitate the development of each child’s unique God-given potential.

These ideas help focus the life of our school. By God’s grace, Redeemer will continue to fulfill its mission as we seek to glorify God and serve our community by providing an excellent Classical Christian education.

Our Philosophy

We seek to teach in a manner consistent with the Bible and a Godly environment. Partnering with parents, we teach each student how to be a learner for life, rather than emphasizing limited perfunctory outcome-based performance. We encourage quality academic work and maintain a culture of discipleship.

Redeemer is a PK3 through 12th grade program that teaches each student Truth. At Redeemer, every student, at every stage of his or her development, will be loved with Christ’s love. Our classical model of education is a time-tested and proven method of instruction, which develops students to be lifelong learners who are able to engage and influence their world.

Our History

In the spring of 1994 a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church became acquainted with the classical model of education while attending a conference in Florida. By the fall of 1994, a group of six members met weekly to pray and begin the organization process. There was no money set aside, no paid personnel, and no school buildings, just a calling from the Lord.

In January 1996 the time was right, so with great prayer and faith the church began holding meetings for interested parents. The church gave and renovated a carriage house for classrooms and chapel. By September 1996 the school opened with 39 students.

Our experience is one of faith and answered prayer, demonstrating how God works through ordinary people to accomplish His extraordinary purpose.
